TIPS AND DRILLS
Here is the first installment in the tips and drills section. It's not a video, but a hopefully an interesting visual reference for you...my own artwork.
Below is the impact area, zoomed in. It is about 4 or 5 inches between the bottom of the ball and the dotted line. What does that mean to you?
Here is another visual from a different perspective, looking more at direction. The face is mostly responsible for determining the starting line of your shots, and the path, relative to where the face points at impact, will determine spin. If the clubhead moves left of the face, the ball will curve right, and vice versa. This diagram represents roughly what happens. The angles aren't exactly the same, but are close enough to be a useful visualization.
